Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all subscription payments made on the Hirecode platform at hirecode.live. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By subscribing to any Hirecode plan, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.

1. Nature of Service

Hirecode is a software-as-a-service platform delivered entirely online. Upon successful payment, access to the platform is granted digitally and immediately. Because the Service is intangible and access is provided instantly, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except in the specific circumstances described in this policy.

2. Subscription Model

Hirecode operates on a monthly recurring subscription basis. Fees are charged in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

3. Eligible Refund Circumstances

We will process a refund in the following situations:

3.1 Incorrect Charge

If you were charged an amount different from the plan price displayed at the time of purchase due to a technical error on our platform or by a payment service provider, you are entitled to a full refund of the excess or incorrect amount charged.

3.2 Duplicate Payment

If your account was charged more than once for the same billing cycle due to a payment processing or system error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.

3.3 Charge After Cancellation

If you were charged after submitting a valid cancellation request that was acknowledged by us in writing, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount charged after the confirmed cancellation date.

3.4 Platform Inaccessibility

If the Hirecode platform was completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours during your active billing period due to reasons within our control, you may be eligible for a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period. Planned maintenance windows communicated in advance do not qualify under this clause.

3.5 Unauthorized Transaction

If you identify a charge on your payment method that you did not authorize and report it to us at hello@hirecode.live before initiating a chargeback, we will investigate and process a refund if the unauthorized nature of the transaction is confirmed.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • You changed your mind after subscribing
  • You did not use the platform during the billing period
  • You were unaware of the auto-renewal and did not cancel before the renewal date
  • You found an alternative product or service
  • Individual assessments or credits already consumed during the billing period
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated outputs, reports, or evaluation scores
  • Partial use of the subscription period following voluntary cancellation

5. Cancellation and Its Effect on Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by writing to hello@hirecode.live. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period already paid. You retain full platform access until the end of that billing cycle.

If you believe your situation warrants an exception, contact us before the renewal date and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.

6. How to Request a Refund

To raise a refund request, email us at hello@hirecode.live with the following details:

  • Subject line: Refund Request
  • Your registered email address on Hirecode
  • Transaction reference number from your invoice
  • Date of the charge
  • Reason for the refund request with any supporting context

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and provide a resolution within 7 business days of acknowledgement.

7. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds typically reflect within 5 to 10 business days after initiation from our end. Hirecode is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider once the refund has been initiated.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us at hello@hirecode.live before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card provider. Most billing concerns are resolved quickly and directly.

If a chargeback is initiated without prior contact, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation and to provide transaction evidence to payment providers or financial institutions where necessary to resolve the dispute.

9. Taxes on Refunds

Where applicable taxes were applied to the original transaction, refunds will include the applicable refunded tax amount where required under applicable laws and regulations.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights available to users under applicable consumer protection laws and regulations.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
